Andrea Holz joined Family Legal Advocacy Group, LLC (FLAG) in August 2023 as a Senior Associate Attorney. A lifelong resident of Howard County, Andrea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1997. During her law school career, Andrea managed the Clinical Offices at the University, while also serving as Managing Editor of the Law Forum. Andrea also interned at the Howard County States Attorney’s Office. Andrea published two articles while attending the University of Baltimore School of Law.
After law school, Andrea worked in private practice, concentrating on Family Law. She also spent several years as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Maryland before taking several years off to raise her children. Upon resuming her law career, she has exclusively practiced family law. She spent the past five years working for a family law litigation firm in Howard County.
Andrea has experience practicing in many jurisdictions in Maryland and the U.S. District Court, and has tried cases in administrative hearings, district court, and circuit court. She has also argued administrative appeals. She is a member of the Maryland and Howard County Bars. Andrea is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Andrea and her husband, Keith, raised 3 children in Howard County who are now attending college. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
