Jamie B. Maier joined Family Legal Advocacy Group (FLAG) in June 2024 as Of Counsel. Jamie has over 15 years of experience representing clients in all aspects of family law cases. Jamie is a seasoned litigator who has developed a reputation as a zealous advocate for her clients in the courtroom. Jamie has a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of family law matters that are often highly emotional with long-reaching implications for her clients and their families.
With a deep understanding of the law, Jamie thinks outside of the box, focusing on the legislative intent and reading between the lines to creatively apply the specific facts of a client’s case to the applicable law, working toward accomplishing her client’s goals. Jamie makes a point of setting realistic expectations with her clients, telling them what they need to know, not necessarily what they want to hear, and passionately and compassionately advocating for her clients in and out of court.
Over the past few years, Jamie’s practice has transitioned from litigation to an emphasis on assisting clients with estate planning and education advocacy. Jamie enjoys assisting clients as they secure their legacy and their family’s future while also advocating for education services for their children who have special needs.
Jamie received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Hartford University.
